I told Wanalynn yesterday afternoon that we would have a baby by 10PM.
Last night at 9:40 we were watching TV and Wanalynn looks at me and says, "It's 20 minutes to 10 and no baby"! She no sooner got that out of her mouth and the Equipage Breeder Alert went off! Ran and looked at the monitor and Buttercup was down and pushing! We both ran to the barn just in time to see the babies feet present themselves! The nose followed and the baby was born in 1 minute! Looked at my cell phone clock and it read 9:51 PM. He tried to nurse before he was even on his feet!
He's a beautiful sorrol pinto and looks just like his sire!
(WWC Miniatures Quicksilver's Crown Prince) 4 year old son of National Champion NFC's Quicksilver! I haven't had a chance to get pix yet, but will today! We stayed up with him until 1 AM to make sure he was doing OK! Mom and baby are doing great! This was one of the mares we purchased in foal last week! We sure cut that one close!

Bill, your BOYS are so refined, upheaded and tiny. They look alot taller than they are. Very showy little guys. I'm so happy for you, your foals are so beautiful. I'm not into the breeding end of owning miniature horses, so I love to share in the excitement of my friends foals. I have only had 4 foals since 1988. I learned a long time ago, that I don't have what it takes to endure some of the setbacks that come with the breeding and foaling process.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful little guys with us, and we just truly enjoy seeing your little ones.
